Cerebus #202
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe "Guys" arc rolls on with issue #202, and the cover sets the mood perfectly — Cerebus slouches at a bar table, head down, while a heavyset man in a tie sits across from him holding a large mug, a speech bubble hanging in the air between them. Dominating the left half of the composition is a strikingly rendered bottle of "Cave-Dave CD Rum, 100 Proof," its ornate label rendered in warm sepia tones that pop against the stark black-and-white barroom scene behind it. Dave Sim and Gerhard bring their usual meticulous linework to both the cover pencils and inks, making this 1996 installment a quietly compelling snapshot of Cerebus deep in the company of guys and strong drink.
