Cerebus #197
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart of the long-running Mothers & Daughters arc, this August 1995 issue from Aardvark-Vanaheim features a striking cover by Dave Sim and Gerhard depicting a voluptuous red-haired woman in a green top and yellow striped skirt, leaning casually against a stone wall with a knowing smile. The split cover design also spotlights the "Cerebus World Tour" Pittsburgh stop (September 9, 1995), complete with promotional images for Bizarre Heroes and Thieves & Kings. It's a wonderfully composed cover that captures both the series' distinctive character work and the indie comics community spirit of the mid-nineties.
