Part of the sweeping "Mothers & Daughters" arc, Cerebus #193 (April 1995) delivers "Minds Part 7" courtesy of the long-running creative partnership of Dave Sim and Gerhard. The cover, pencilled and inked by both Sim and Gerhard, presents a lone blonde woman huddled on a rocky outcrop, arms wrapped tightly around herself, a stone bridge looming through the grey, overcast sky behind her — a quietly haunting image that speaks to isolation and unease. This issue also bears the "Cerebus World Tour" banner commemorating the San Jose, California stop on May 14, 1995, making it a distinctive artifact of that moment in the series' long and ambitious run.
