Catwoman is literally "Back in Action!" as the cover's bold tagline declares, and the image delivers on that promise — Selina Kyle, in her purple suit, is locked in fierce mid-air combat with a muscular blond attacker atop a military-style truck, gun blazing between them. The cover pencils by Staz Johnson and inks by Wayne Faucher give the scene a raw, kinetic energy that feels genuinely dangerous. With writer Bronwyn Carlton and artist Cary Nord helming this January 2001 issue, it's a compelling entry in Selina's ongoing series.
