Catwoman #13
Part of the "KnightsEnd: Aftermath" Batman crossover event, this August 1994 issue drops Selina Kyle into a genuinely unusual setting — an underwater battle in full scuba gear, her signature cat-eared mask and flowing green hair unmistakable even beneath the waves. Jim Balent's cover crackles with kinetic energy: Catwoman dominates the foreground wielding a spear gun, a menacing diver fires at her from behind, and a whiskered catfish drifts eerily through the murky green depths below. It's a striking visual package from Balent, with writing by Jo Duffy and inks by Bob Smith rounding out the creative team.
