Cartoon Network Starring #14
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeJohnny Bravo's charm offensive hits a new low — and a new high of comedy — in this October 2000 DC/Cartoon Network issue, with cover art by Dave Schwartz and Jeff Albrecht bringing the gag to life perfectly. The cover says it all: a muscle-bound, sunglasses-wearing Johnny crammed into a tiny 75-cent kiddie ride car, leaning out to deliver his smoothest line to an unimpressed redhead who's already got her hands full with a stroller, a toddler, and a little girl in tow — plus one very skeptical-looking man nearby. It's a wonderfully absurd snapshot of Johnny at his most delusional, setting the tone for "Under My Wheels" inside from writer Paul Kupperberg and artist Dan Day.
