Mama Bravo
Mama Bravo is the devoted, no-nonsense mother of Johnny Bravo, the muscle-bound, self-obsessed pretty boy from the Cartoon Network animated series. She appears in DC's comics adaptations of the show, keeping her vain, oblivious son in check.
Stepping out of the animated world and onto the comics page, Mama Bravo made her debut in DC's Cartoon Network Starring #2 in 1999, brought to life by creators John Crane and Anthony Williams. A Modern Age gem, she's a familiar presence in the Cartoon Network corner of DC's publishing lineup, sharing pages with the likes of Johnny Bravo, Pops, Carl Chryniszzswics, and Suzy across Cartoon Network Starring and Cartoon Network Block Party. Her appearances may be select β a tight six in the catalog β but for fans of that beloved era of Cartoon Network comics, she's a charming piece of the puzzle, the kind of supporting character who gives a series its heart and humor.
