Since the main purpose of Cap and Pete's new team will be to fight and capture the demons released during the Secret Invasion, Blade is recruited. Faiza takes Dane home to smooth over the whole super hero thing with her folks (who are Muslim and have a few choice words to say to the Black Knight about the Crusades). When Faiza shows them Excalibur, however, they are convinced that England has chosen her to be a hero. Captain Midlands reports that he has uncovered a demon and the team takes off for their first mission. On meeting Spitfire, Blade stakes her (her being a vampire and all).
