Cap makes his way to California to oversee the making of a movie about his life. He is attacked at the airport by the Nihilist Front and is "rescued" by the new media darling, Nomad. With Cap looking a little outdated and Nomad looking like the hero of the future, the mysterious "Leader" and the Ameridroid watch their plans unfold.
