Candy learns about a new dance called the "Judo Mambo" from her friend Ted on the cover, then becomes involved in a scheme to help her friend Myrna win a student vote for a school campaign by collecting pledges. When Dean Dilsbury shows up to take Myrna on a drive, Candy attempts to impress him by cooking a goose using her "secret recipe," though the cooking process goes awry with an automatic timer.
