Quality Comics' teen humor series delivers another charming slice of 1955 high-school life as "America's Favorite Teen-Age Girl" finds herself quite literally swept up in a sousaphone — she and a grinning young fellow are nestled together inside the instrument's enormous brass coil, holding hands on the sofa while a second sousaphone looms large in the background. The cover's speech bubble cheekily asks whether learning an instrument is the real secret to popularity with girls, and Candy's wide-eyed, delighted expression suggests she just might agree.
