Quality Comics' teen humor series hits a delightfully chaotic note with this February 1951 issue, as a "Just Married" jalopy rolls away while a dark-haired figure scrambles after it, wrench raised, clearly not thrilled about the honeymoon getaway plan. A wide-eyed blonde boy and a startled Candy react from inside the rolling red convertible, while a speech bubble asks the perfectly absurd question: "Candy, does your dad know that your aunt will use my jalopy for her honeymoon?" All 52 big full-width pages promise more of the same breezy, laugh-out-loud comedy that made "America's Favorite Teen-Age Girl" such a fun corner of early 1950s comics.
