Bully Wars #3 keeps the anarchic energy of Skottie Young and Aaron Conley's series cranked high, with Conley's cover pencils putting a snarling, leather-jacketed tough guy front and center — his fist crackling around a glowing, vein-riddled eyeball as skull-and-crossbones symbols swirl in the explosive backdrop behind him. It's a wonderfully unhinged image that captures the series' gleeful blend of over-the-top attitude and cartoon menace. Jean-Francois Beaulieu's colors bathe the whole scene in deep purples and fiery golds, giving this 2018 Image release a vivid, punchy presence on any shelf.
