In the gritty streets of 1983, orphan Tommy Troy stumbles into a dangerous web when he catches the orphanage superintendent, Mr. Creacher, in a theft scheme. After being offered up to a mysterious couple to stay silent, Tommy uncovers a magical ring with a fly emblem in their attic—summoning Turan, an emissary of the enigmatic Fly People. With newfound powers, a striking costume, and a weaponized legacy, Tommy rises as the Fly to confront those who wronged him.

In "The Master of Junk-Ri-La," young Tommy finds himself caught in a whirlwind when his prized fly ring is stolen by the cruel Mister March. When a mysterious junk-plane begins terrorizing the city with magnetic force, stealing vaults and ripping metal from buildings, Tommy seizes his chance to reclaim what’s his—literally. Flying through the desert on a makeshift aircraft built by the reclusive Junkman Hans Yunkmann, Tommy must outwit thugs and a towering mechanical flyswatter to stop the machine before it destroys everything.

In "Come into My Parlor," Spider Spry—master of nets and web-like lassos—sets a scuba crook loose to steal jewels from a freighter, sparking the attention of the Fly. When the Fly investigates, a sudden flash disrupts his balance, sending him tumbling into the water and forcing him to hitch a ride on a passing boat. His pursuit leads him to Spider Spry’s water tower lair, where he dodges a net and fires his buzz gun in a tense showdown—only to leave the villain dangling for the authorities and send him back to chopping wood.

When a skyscraper vanishes overnight, The Fly dives into the mystery—only to find himself in a bizarre arena where a Mud Toad and a monstrous, long-necked dinosaur-beast stand between him and the truth. As the city’s fate hangs in the balance, The Fly must confront the strange invaders behind the theft, who may have planned more than just a test.

In "The Fly Discovers His Buzz-Gun," the Fly—still learning to navigate his powers—steps in during a chaotic car chase witnessed by Tommy and Dolly while running errands for the Marches. With a sudden burst of courage and a newly discovered gadget, he deploys his Buzz Gun to help the police, turning a tense pursuit into something far more unexpected.
