Blackhawk #189
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBlackhawk #189 drops one of 1963's more delightfully wild premises: a sensational 3-part novel pitting the Blackhawk team against "The Super-Cavemen of 15,000 B.C." On the cover by Dick Dillin and Chuck Cuidera, fur-clad prehistoric warriors streak through the sky on jet-powered skis, blasting heat-ray weapons that can melt stone — while Blackhawk and his squadron look on in stunned disbelief below. It's a fantastic collision of Stone Age and sci-fi that perfectly captures the imaginative ambition DC was bringing to its adventure titles that year.
