What better way to shake up a quiet superhero gathering than a surprise visit from the Savage Dragon himself? The cover — penciled and inked by David Zimmerman and Erik Larsen — depicts the hulking green fin-headed Dragon crashing dramatically through what appears to be a team meeting, sending coffee mugs flying while a group of costumed heroes reacts with varying degrees of alarm and disbelief. Inside, writer Gary Carlson and Chris Ecker team with artist Jeff Weigel for "The Society of Evil Minds," promising plenty of that fun, affectionate Silver Age energy Big Bang Comics does so well.
