Part of Archie's Giant Series line, Betty and Me #44 delivers a perfectly charming summer scenario right on its cover: Archie and Betty are snuggled together on a red couch by candlelight, with Betty cheerfully unbothered by the power outage Archie is lamenting — her "So who's complaining??" says it all. A small vignette at the top adds a sun-soaked beach scene with an admiring Archie and a watchful Veronica keeping tabs from above.
