“Crisis at Careless Creek”

In "Crisis at Careless Creek," a simple clerical error sends Beetle Bailey rocketing toward promotion—only to trigger a chain reaction of chaos when Sarge is demoted to private and forced to endure Beetle’s relentless antics. Written and drawn by Mort Walker, with inks and letters by Fred Rhoads, this 1965 installment of Beetle Bailey delivers classic military absurdity with a 12-cent punch.
