“Heartbreak Hotel”

In "Heartbreak Hotel," Dazzler struggles to regain control of her powers while recovering at a mutant sanctuary under Beast’s care, their bond deepening amid quiet moments and shared vulnerability. When Alexander Flynn arrives offering a chance to perform, Beast reluctantly follows as Dazzler steps into the spotlight—only to discover the so-called "show" is a deadly spectacle masked as entertainment. The issue’s emotional core and escalating tension are brought to life by Ann Nocenti’s sharp writing and Don Perlin’s expressive art, with Bill Sienkiewicz’s striking cover capturing the story’s haunting allure.
