Beauty and the Beast #1
"Beauty and the Beast Part 1" introduces a fresh take on the classic tale, set in the Marvel Universe with Beast on a rare break from the Defenders. When Wonder Man brings him to Hollywood, Beast crosses paths with a disillusioned Dazzler, whose life takes a mysterious turn after signing a contract with a shadowy producer. Written by Ann Nocenti and brought to life by Don Perlin’s expressive art, with inks by Kim DeMulder and colors by George Roussos, this issue blends urban intrigue with supernatural tension. Bill Sienkiewicz’s striking cover captures the story’s moody, cinematic flair.
