Bestia y Dazzler empiezan a dedicar más tiempo a estar juntos, pese a que Hank desaprueba su lucha en la arena. Una vez más Bestia trata de hablar con ella para que deje de participar pero ella se niega. Bestia investiga un laboratorio en el complejo y descubre que Flynn y Longride le han estado dando a Dazzler una poción que provoca que sus poderes estén fuera de control. Lo coge y se lo inyecta a sí mismo. En la arena, Dazzler se halla enfrentándose a una fiera Bestia en una brutal batalla. La pareja llega hasta el final, pero la audiencia pide sangre. Flynn los complace matando a Longride.
