Battlestar Galactica #17
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeMarvel's Battlestar Galactica #17 (1980) delivers a wild cover by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson that says everything you need to know about the chaos inside: a massive, red-furred creature is hurling a human figure through the air above Launch Bay Alpha while panicked bystanders scatter in every direction below. A military officer in a panel above insists there is "no cause for alarm" — which, given the mayhem on display, makes for a perfectly deadpan bit of comic-book humor. With Walt Simonson and Steven Grant handling the script and Simonson's pencils inked by Klaus Janson inside, "Ape and Essence" looks like a genuinely fun detour for fans of the Colonial fleet.
