In "Fever," Batman closes in on Webley after the murder of Dalton Walls, only to uncover a web of deception spun by the enigmatic Mr. Kadaver. As the trail leads to a wealthy nephew with a hidden inheritance and a deadly contract, the stakes rise when the Corrosive Man emerges—seeking vengeance on Kadaver. Written by John Wagner and Alan Grant, with moody, detailed art by Norm Breyfogle and vivid colors by Adrienne Roy, this issue deepens the mystery with a chilling atmosphere and a tense, escalating confrontation. The cover, a striking piece by Mike Mignola, captures the noir intensity of the story.
