Batman / Superman #24

Part four of "Truth Hurts" arrives in this November 2015 installment, with a cover by penciler Aaron Kuder and inker Klaus Janson that crackles with city-leveling chaos. A blond, spear-wielding villain leaps through lightning-streaked smoke above a burning cityscape, while an armored Batman levels a weapon below and a cape-less Superman grapples with a massive creature on the right. The whole scene pulses with the kind of sprawling, anything-goes energy that makes this Batman/Superman team-up arc genuinely compelling — with a creative roster including Greg Pak and artists Ardian Syaf, Yıldıray Çınar, and Howard Porter, there's plenty of firepower behind the "LIES" banner blazing across the bottom.
