This "Injustice"-stamped issue kicks off "Savage Hunt Part 1" with a striking Francis Manapul cover that layers Batman's looming, angular silhouette over a brooding profile of Superman — both rendered in a moody palette of deep red and blue that suggests tension simmering between the two heroes. The painterly, almost fractured composition gives the whole thing a restless energy that sets a compelling tone for Greg Pak's story, brought to life inside by Cliff Richards and colorist Beth Sotelo.
