Les Supermen conduisent Superboy Prime à travers un soleil rouge, et alors que ses pouvoirs commencent à décliner, il utilise le reste de sa super-force pour tuer l'ancien Superman. Il est ensuite maîtrisé par la version plus jeune, et le Green Lantern Corps l'emprisonne sur Oa dans une cellule spéciale contenant un mini soleil rouge, mais il jure qu'il s'échappera, comme il l'a fait auparavant avec la Force Véloce. Dans un épilogue, Alexander Luthor Jr. jure qu'il reviendra pour recréer le nouveau multivers à son image d'un seul univers «parfait», mais est tué par le Joker.
