This deluxe hardcover collects the four-issue 1988 miniseries Batman: The Cult, written by Jim Starlin with art by Bernie Wrightson. The story follows Batman as he is captured and brainwashed by a charismatic cult leader named Deacon Blackfire, who has amassed an army of the homeless in Gotham City's underground. This edition features restored colors and a new introduction, presenting a dark and psychological chapter in the Dark Knight's history.
