Batman: Creature of the Night #4
In "Book Four: Dark Knight," Bruce’s descent into darkness takes a chilling turn as the Bat Creature grows more violent, fueled by isolation and paranoia. With Boston on edge and Jepson urging Robin to intervene, the young hero must reach Bruce before his rage consumes the city. Written by Kurt Busiek and brought to life with moody, expressive art by John Paul Leon—whose distinctive pencils, inks, and colors define the issue’s haunting tone—this standout chapter captures the fragile line between vigilante and monster. The cover by John Paul Leon perfectly encapsulates the story’s brooding intensity.
