Batman: Creature of the Night #2
In "Book Two: Boy Wonder," Bruce Wainwright balances his life as a Harvard student and rising figure at Wainwright Investments under his uncle Alfred, using his sharp instincts to guide the company’s success. As he pushes for change—starting a victim support group that brings in 14-year-old Robin Helgeland, a survivor of tragedy—the mysterious Bat Creature prowls the night, drawing ever closer to the truth of his own identity. Written by Kurt Busiek and brought to life with striking, moody art by John Paul Leon (who also handles inks, colors, and lettering), this issue deepens the enigmatic bond between Bruce and the creature he may—or may not—be. The cover, also by Leon, captures the duality of his world in a single, haunting image.
