Studios, issue #3 of Batman '66 Meets Steed and Mrs. Peel brings together four fan-favorite television heroes in one eye-catching image — Batman and Robin alongside the dapper John Steed (bowler hat and umbrella in hand) and the formidable Mrs. Peel in her signature black catsuit, all reacting to an enormous stone hand erupting from behind them atop a crackling control panel. Michael Allred's cover art captures the breezy, kinetic energy both franchises share, with clean lines and a pop-art sensibility that feels right at home in the '66 aesthetic. Writer Ian Edginton and artist Matthew Dow Smith are on interior duties for "Tinkering with Terror," promising exactly the sort of colorful, tongue-in-cheek adventure this unlikely team-up deserves.
