Batman #471
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA menacing green reptilian figure looms in the underground tunnels beneath a richly detailed Gotham City skyline, with Batman and Robin standing watch in the corner inset — it's a wonderfully atmospheric setup that makes the cover tagline "Beneath the streets of Gotham City… a killer stalks!" feel genuinely unsettling. Norm Breyfogle's cover art balances the sprawling city above with the creeping threat below, giving the whole composition a satisfying sense of scale and dread. Alan Grant and Breyfogle were one of the great creative partnerships of early-'90s Batman, and "Requiem for a Killer" promises exactly the kind of moody, character-driven storytelling that defined their run together.
