Mikel Janín's linework gives each face a warm, almost cinematic intimacy, with Catwoman's goggles and Superman's iconic chest emblem the only reminders that these are, in fact, very unusual couples. Tom King's "Super Friends Part 2," illustrated by Clay Mann and colored by Jordie Bellaire, promises the kind of character-driven superhero storytelling that makes this era of Batman so enjoyable.
