Batman #35
Part three of "The Rules of Engagement" arrives with one of its most striking covers yet — Joëlle Jones's artwork puts Catwoman and Talia al Ghul face-to-face in a tense, blade-drawn confrontation, their locked gazes and drawn weapons making the tension almost tangible. The tagline "Duel with the Demon's Daughter!" sets the stakes clearly, and Jones's fluid linework, colored by Jordie Bellaire's warm, charged palette, gives the standoff real visual electricity. Tom King's acclaimed Rebirth run continues to pull Batman's world into unexpectedly personal territory, and this cover promises that Selina Kyle is right at the center of it.
