Part five of "The War of Jokes & Riddles" arrives with a cover by Mikel Janín that makes the stakes unmistakably clear: the Joker looms at the center of a dense, menacing assembly of Gotham villains — including the Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Deathstroke, and a snarling Killer Croc among others — all rendered against a fiery orange backdrop scattered with Joker playing cards. Tom King's ambitious Rebirth arc has been building toward exactly this kind of collision, and Janín's composition, colored vividly by June Chung, captures the sheer weight of an entire rogues' gallery united under one sinister banner.
