Part three of "The War of Jokes & Riddles" arrives with one of 2017's most striking cover images: the Riddler and the Joker locked in an intense face-off across a table strewn with playing cards, loose bullets, and a revolver. The cards themselves are illustrated with villain faces — including a Harley Quinn joker card and a Batman queen of spades — making the whole tableau feel like Gotham's underworld reduced to a high-stakes game. Tom King's story is brought to vivid life by Mikel Janín and colorist June Chung, whose moody greens and cool shadows perfectly frame this clash of criminal masterminds.
