Batman #2
In "The Joker War Part One," Batman confronts a twisted vision after being doused in Punchline’s toxin, glimpsing a future that quickly unravels. With Gotham descending into chaos as Joker’s gangs run wild, Harley Quinn fights to pull him back to reality—just as the Joker summons Batman to the Monarch Theater, transformed into a stage for his twisted premiere of "The Mark of Zorro." Written by James Tynion IV and illustrated with chilling precision by Jorge Jiménez, with colors by Tomeu Morey and letters by Clayton Cowles, this issue sets a pulse-pounding tone for the war to come. The cover, also by Jorge Jiménez, captures the eerie grandeur of the theater’s new purpose.
