This volume collects issues #5-8 of the 2013 Avenging Spider-Man series, featuring Spider-Man teaming up with a rotating cast of allies from across the Marvel Universe. With his new abilities and a growing sense of unease, Spider-Man must team up with the reluctant Blade to dismantle Negus’s deadly scheme—before the serum’s effects become permanent. Written by Kevin Grevioux and illustrated by Roberto Castro, with inks by Walden Wong and Sandu Florea, and colors by SotoColor, John Kalisz, Antonio Fabela, and Andres Mossa, this 2013 issue features a striking cover by Patrick Zircher.

Solomon Negus, an ancient vampire, has artificial vampires created via "Fang", so that he can hold UVC fights. Spider-Man is temporarily mutated with the vampire-like serum and forced to fight the captive Blade. Escaping, Blade and Spider-Man return to take them down.
