Kevin Grevioux
Kevin Grevioux was born on September 9, 1962, in the United States. He is best known as the co-creator of the *Underworld* film series, in which he also appeared as the vampire Raze, and for voicing the villain Black Beetle on the animated series *Young Justice*. His path into comics came after his film work, and he wrote for the medium primarily between 2006 and 2021, with credits on 48 issues. Grevioux’s most notable comic work includes the series *Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel*, which introduced the first African American superhero of the Marvel Universe, and runs on *New Warriors*, *Cyborg*, and *Bloodshot Rising Spirit*. He also wrote *Odyssey of the Amazons* and *Valkyries*. His style often blends science fiction with character-driven stories, and he collaborated with artists such as Phil Hester and Roberto de la Torre. Grevioux’s legacy includes expanding diversity in superhero comics and bridging the gap between film and comic book storytelling.
