Part of the 1990 "Avengers Reborn" storyline, this issue of Avengers Spotlight puts Doctor Druid front and center — quite literally, as a red-suited figure bearing a distinctive all-seeing eye symbol rises triumphantly through billowing flames above a massive, anguished disintegrating face. Steve Lightle's cover art is vivid and unsettling, pairing cosmic imagery with raw, visceral drama in a way that makes "The Reincarnation of Doctor Druid" feel genuinely consequential. With Roy Thomas and Dann Thomas scripting and Bob Hall on interior art, this is a compelling chapter in a character's journey that doesn't get nearly enough attention.
