As the Sub-Mariner arrives with his piece of the Eye to Dr. Strange’s home, he brings visitors with him: the Avengers. Before a new battle breaks out, the two teams talk to each other and realize they been manipulated. They then journey to Los Angeles to stop Hulk and Thor’s battle. As they assemble the six pieces of the Eye, it is taken by Asti, a servant of Dormammu. Suddenly the Earth changes, humans begin to turn to monsters, and Dormammu lays claim to Earth. Only the Avengers and the Defenders together can stop him.
