The final issue of a nine-year run deserves a send-off like this — Phil Noto's cover arranges the full cast in a warm, quietly poignant group portrait: Wolverine, Iceman (in his crystalline form), Storm, Gambit, and several teammates in their black-and-gold uniforms gather together while two figures seated in front hold a sign reading "AXM 2004–2013." A giant yellow-gloved hand at the edge of the frame adds one last touch of mystery to this affectionate farewell.
