When he learns she’s Jill Johnson, a girl who died there a decade prior, he’s stunned—until she reappears that night to save him from a fate eerily like her own. Written and illustrated by Bob Bolling, with inks by Chic Stone, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida, this haunting tale blends small-town charm with a touch of the supernatural. The cover, by Dan Parent, captures the story’s eerie intrigue.
When Veronica refuses to ride in Archie’s car unless the air conditioning is fixed, Archie and Jughead enlist Jughead’s cousin to take a look—leading to a lighthearted mix of mechanics, stubborn pride, and the usual teen chaos.
In "Pharaoh Foul," Jughead and Veronica stumble upon a treasure-filled chamber in an Egyptian tomb, where they impulsively don the regal garb of a long-lost Pharaoh and his Queen Ah Shetup, setting off a lighthearted adventure in the heart of ancient mystery.
In "Jogger Jill," Archie discovers a mysterious girl named Jo while jogging through Pickins' Park, where she warns him about the perilous "Coffin Curve" at the base of Thrill Hill. When he learns she was Jill Johnson, a girl who died there a decade prior, he’s stunned—until she returns that night to save him from the very fate that claimed her.
Jo and the Pussycats stumble upon a quiet stretch of beach hoping to escape the usual male attention, only to find their solitude threatened by three dazzling, identical bikini-clad triplets who seem to have claimed the spot for themselves.
In "Full Effect," Mr. Lodge dreams of a quiet afternoon in his favorite chair, only to wake up mysteriously relocated next to the pool—thanks to Archie’s well-intentioned (if misguided) plan to maximize the stereo’s sound. The story unfolds with playful chaos as the two navigate the unexpected consequences of a simple prank gone full effect.
