Archie's camping trip takes a hilariously wrong turn on Dan DeCarlo's cover for this 1985 issue, where a cheerfully oblivious Archie holds up a map and asks Mr. Weatherbee — sunk waist-deep in a muddy pit, his "Camp Director" shirt still visible — how he likes the campsite Archie picked out. A group of wide-eyed campers looks on from behind as a yellow tent and scenic woods frame the scene, making it instantly clear that Archie's navigation skills leave something to be desired. With George Gladir's script and art by Chic Stone and Rudy Lapick bringing "Vacation Blahs" to life inside, this is a thoroughly enjoyable slice of Riverdale humor.
