Archie's Pal Jughead Comics #63

Jughead finds himself in a delightfully awkward spot on this 1994 cover, standing before a dog obedience school instructor with his faithful pooch Hot Dog at his side — and a speech bubble cheerfully admitting, "Yes, I ate his homework!" A lineup of wonderfully expressive dogs fills out the scene, each toting a little bag, making it clear this class is in session whether Jughead is ready or not. Cover pencils by Stan Goldberg and inks by Henry Scarpelli give the whole thing that warm, breezy charm that makes Archie Comics such an enduring pleasure.
