Jughead Jones has never looked happier in his role as "Food Judge" at the Riverdale Fancy Foods Contest, gleefully exclaiming "Now this is my kind of beauty contest!" as three young women parade toward him bearing elaborate platters of burgers, ice cream sundaes, and sandwiches. Rex W. Lindsey's cover perfectly captures Jughead's singular devotion to food over everything else, with his trademark crown and wide-eyed grin saying it all. This 2005 issue is a cheerful reminder of why Riverdale's most enthusiastic eater has always been one of Archie Comics' most endearing characters.
