Archie's Pal Jughead #111

Aug 1964 · Archie · 0.12 USD
“Woodman Spare That Tree”

In "Woodman Spare That Tree," Jughead’s desperate attempt to dodge Big Ethel leads to a hilariously awkward disguise as a tree—only for Moose to accidentally chop him down while gathering firewood for the pep rally. Fleeing in panic, Jughead swaps his bark for a new cover: a trash can. Samm Schwartz’s expressive art brings every misstep and slapstick moment to life, capturing the classic charm of Archie’s Pal Jughead #111, a 1964 comic where humor grows as thick as the forest.
