Archie's Joke Book Magazine #195
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeWinter hijinks take center stage on this 1974 issue, as the cover's two-panel gag tells the whole story at a glance — Archie confidently shouts "Last one down is a rotten egg!" while racing his friends down a snowy hill, only for the bottom panel to reveal him crashed into a tree in a dizzy spiral of stars, with the punchline "First one down is a scrambled egg!" The snowy scene is packed with sleds, tumbling kids, and that perfectly timed Archie comeuppance that makes these gag comics so endearing. "Glee Spree" promises a full book of that same cheerful, good-natured humor that made Archie's Joke Book Magazine a perennial favorite.

Archie, Reggie and Veronica are on the ski slopes. Reggie keeps following Archie and Veronica, bragging about how he can do any ski stunt they can think of. Veronica and Archie are getting tired of this, and Reggie again says to name a stunt and he'll do it. Archie asks Reggie if he can land on the front end of one ski and on the back end of the other ski. Reggie says that he can, does a flip in the air, and lands just as Archie said - which leaves him stuck in the snow.
