Archie & Friends #39
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeRiverdale High's "Western Days" event is clearly getting a little out of hand — the cover by Stan Goldberg (pencils) and Jon D'Agostino (inks) captures a jubilant, lasso-twirling Archie in full cowboy gear dragging the roped-and-exasperated principal right out of his office chair, while Betty and Veronica look on in gleeful disbelief. The principal's speech bubble ("Positively, no more Western Days at Riverdale High!") says it all, making this 2000 issue one of those irresistibly fun Archie covers that communicates pure comedic chaos at a glance. Fans of the gang's lighthearted misadventures will find plenty to smile about here.
