Jughead & Friends Digest Magazine #2

Aug 2005 · Archie · 2.39 USD
“Doggin' It!”

In "Doggin' It!", Jughead finds himself in a whirlwind of mishaps when Betty and Veronica try to help him escape from Big Ethel—only to accidentally send him crashing into a tree and a limb. Moose takes over, but his well-meaning effort ends with Jughead flying into a pile of garbage cans. As his friends' rescue attempts go from bad to worse, Jughead ends up sprinting toward Big Ethel, not to escape him, but to save him from the chaos his friends have caused. Written by Jim Ruth and brought to life with energetic art by Samm Schwartz—pencils, inks, and colors by Schwartz, with lettering by Schwartz and Barry Grossman—this funny, fast-paced tale captures the classic Archie chaos. The cover, by Stan Goldberg and Bob Smith, perfectly captures the zany spirit of the issue.
