Archie & Friends #121

Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead find themselves at the Catalina Comic Con — and judging by their wide-eyed, nervous reactions on the cover, something at the convention is very wrong. A looming, shadowy red figure in the foreground adds a genuinely unsettling edge to the scene, while Archie's exclamation that "those guys have us!" hints at a mystery with some fun meta flavor. Fernando Ruiz's cover sets up "The Crooked Comic Con Caper! Part 1" with exactly the right mix of humor and intrigue to kick off this three-part adventure written by Alex Simmons.
